SERDANG: The Charity Golf Tournament in conjunction with the 50th Golden Jubilee celebration of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) took place at the UPM Golf Club on 18 December 2021.

It is interesting to know that most of the UPM Alumni have participated in this tournament to further strengthen the relationship with other parties who are also involved. The Sports Center organized this tournament in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Center and the UPM Alumni Association working together to further enliven UPM's 50th Golden Jubilee celebration.

UPM Sports Center has allocated a total of RM 6000.00 as a total prize for the lucky participants. This Charity Golf Program is one of the 6 programs that have been planned by UPM in conjunction with celebrating UPM's 50th anniversary.

Muhazam Mansor, who is also the registrar of UPM, said he was surprised by the response and was ready to make this program an annual sport. Representatives of former UPM students expressed their gratitude because the program received a warm response from various parties, especially from golf fans consisting of UPM Alumni. "Therefore, we plan to make a program like this as UPM's annual sport in order to further strengthen the relationship between the university and former students and at the same time give them the opportunity to continue with UPM," he said.
