SERDANG, April 20, 2019 - Universiti Putra Malaysia Sports Centre is hosting the Opening Ceremony of the Sports Centre's School Adoption Program for UPM 2019. The Opening Ceremony was the symbolic of the starting of 2019 School Adoption Program.   For the record, UPM Sports Centre has started implementing school programs since 2012 starting with Archery sports. There was two schools involved are SMK Seri Indah, Serdang, SMK Serdang, SMK Section 4 Bangi and SMK Bukit Mahkota.

Among the sports selected for this program are Archery, Baseball, T Ball, Rugby and AThletics.    The schools involved in the School Adoption Program for 2019 are , Sekolah Menengah Seri Indah (Archery and Baseball School), Sekolah Menengah Seri Serdang (Archery and Baseball), Sekolah Sukan Tunku Mahkota Ismail (Rugby and Athletics), Sekolah Kebangsaan Serdang (Baseball School), Sekolah Kebangsaan cheras Jaya (Athletics and Baseball)  and Sekolah Kebangsaan Serdang (Tee-Ball and Baseball)
