UPM, Serdang, October 1, 2017: UPM Serdang Angels becomes as the champion for 2017 Rugby Super 8 IPT. With this achievement, UPM Serdang Angels became the champion for 4 times since the tournament was introduced in 2014.

In the final match held at UPM Stadium on October 1, 2017, the UPM Serdang Angels had MSP Hornets with a score of 50-0.
