Selangor: On 6 June 2021, UPM Sports Center in collaboration with Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail has organized the UPM 2021 Sports Development Empowerment Program which consists of several leading panels such as Datuk Hajjah Zaiton Othman, Former Malaysian Sports Commissioner, and also Puan Noraseela Mohd Khalid, President of the Olympian Association Malaysia.

The main purpose of this program is to organize as a sharing session on the development of sports in the country, further opening the eyes and also a more open space for the audience. The program was held through the UPM Sports Center's Facebook Live line which lasted for 2 hours.

Various interesting inputs were shared by both panels in discussing the development of sports holistically in Malaysia. Without exception, the panel also emphasized the importance of athletes to further their studies to ensure that athletes not only excel in sports but also in academics.
